About this opportunity ....
Become part of our Fall Buying Internship at Ross!
During this two-week program, you will work alongside our expert buying teams, gaining first-hand experience of what it is like to be a Buyer at Ross. You'll gain hands-on experience in the office and in the market, learning what it takes to buy brands customers want at great values. As an additional goal, there are many future full-time opportunities that await interns upon successful completion of the internship.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
What you will do and what you will learn....
  • Observe the administrative and operational functions supporting a designated Buyer.

  • Analyze and interpret key business issues as directed by supervisor including the monitoring of regional merchandise reports, Open-to-Buy monitoring, and stock analysis.

  • Attend market appointments and competitive shopping trips.

  • Learn our merchandising systems and gain understanding of warehouse processes.

  • Demonstrate product knowledge through sharing information with buyer as a result of competitive shopping, shopping Ross Stores, and the market.
