What you'll be doing

Technology at CIBC is focused on building secure, reliable, and innovative solutions that support our clients and the business. As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll contribute to hands-on assignments that support the development and enhancement of software applications across the organization. You'll help develop, code, test, and debug end-to-end solutions, while participating in technical design, development, and integration activities across platforms. You'll collaborate with technology and business partners to identify issues, ask thoughtful questions, and support effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Throughout the internship, you'll gain exposure to banking products, services, regulatory requirements, and CIBC's core systems and processes. You'll also complete training, apply your learning in daily work, and build your technical, analytical, and communication skills through mentorship and development opportunities.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
