Job description

Job Location:
Roosevelt Field Mall
This position will maintain good contact with mall personnel and must help coordinate efforts and participation during promotions. The Marketing Intern screens questions & requests from tenants, vendors and the public, responding to or resolving problems as qualified. The Marketing Intern also assists in coordinating special events at the property.
Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and work closely with other managers and associates on the Roosevelt Field mall management team.
  • Have regular contact with retail store managers to secure participation in upcoming events and programs.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of special events and promotions.
  • Secure outside offers for and additional retail store participation in SIMON+ customer loyalty program.
  • Produce short-form video and carousel content that conform to company standards to promote mall amenities, retailers, and restaurants on Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
  • Be able to work a consistent part-time schedule, days and hours to be determined, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Skills needed:
  • Strong working knowledge of Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and proficiency with short-form video production
  • Proficient in CapCut, Canva, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in Sprout preferred
  • Effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team

*The salary range for this position is $18.00 -$22.00 per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience and qualifications and the geographic location of the job. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the pay range.
