Summary:
The Security Operations Analyst helps protect ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages’ information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) environments through security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and continuous security improvement. This role analyzes security events, investigates potential threats, supports cybersecurity technologies and controls, and partners with IT and operational teams to reduce risk across corporate, cloud, distribution, manufacturing, and OT environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and investigate security alerts, events, and incidents across Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Fortinet, cloud, endpoint, identity, and operational technology environments.
  • Perform threat hunting, log analysis, and incident response for malware, phishing, unauthorized access, compromised accounts, suspicious network activity, and other cybersecurity threats.
  • Develop and improve Microsoft Sentinel analytics rules, KQL queries, workbooks, playbooks, and alerting processes.
  • Review vulnerability findings, prioritize risks, coordinate remediation activities, and validate corrective actions.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of cybersecurity technologies, controls, and monitoring capabilities across enterprise and manufacturing environments.
  • Participate in security exercises, control assessments, and incident response activities to improve organizational readiness and cybersecurity maturity.
  • Partner with IT, manufacturing, and operational teams to investigate concerns, reduce risk, and implement security improvements.
  • Maintain incident records, security procedures, playbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Support cybersecurity projects and other related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Strong security-first mindset with the ability to identify, analyze, and communicate cybersecurity risks.
  • Ability to translate technical findings into practical and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple investigations, priorities, and projects in a changing environment.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with cybersecurity threats, technologies, and practices.

Work Environment and Reporting:
  • Reports to the Director of Network and Security Support Services.
  • Hybrid work schedule, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday.
  • Travel to ABARTA locations may be required.
  • Ability to independently lift, move, and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb a ladder up to eight feet.
