About the Role:

The Revenue Operations team sits at the center of PitchBook's go-to-market engine, translating data into the insights that power strategic decisions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. We are a collaborative, detail-oriented team that takes ownership of the full analytical lifecycle, from raw data to executive dashboards, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor and clarity. If you care deeply about getting the numbers right and communicating them well, you will fit right in.

The Revenue Operations Analyst, Analytics & Insights, owns performance reporting, business review cadences, and funnel and lifecycle analytics across PitchBook's go-to-market organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to translate data into meaningful insights that inform strategy and accelerate business growth. The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious, insights-driven analyst who enjoys asking questions, challenging assumptions, and uncovering opportunities within complex datasets. Bringing strong SQL skills, experience working with large datasets, and an enthusiasm for leveraging AI and automation to enhance analytics and decision-making.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Own weekly and monthly sales performance reporting covering pipeline, attainment, and pacing; run and maintain the WBR/MBR/QBR process end-to-end, including narrative framing and exec-ready dashboards

  • Conduct marketing funnel analytics, campaign ROI measurement, lead routing and distribution analysis, and territory design and capacity planning analytics across global offices

  • Facilitate the forecasting process across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, owning cadence, inputs, scenario reviews, and translation into the business narrative
  • Proactively generate insights indexed to business impact, surfacing what the business should be asking before it thinks to ask
  • Validate hypotheses raised by operational, field, or finance leaders, delivering rigorous analysis that confirms, challenges, or reframes the original question
  • Champion data quality, governance, and KPI consistency across revenue systems; identify opportunities for automation and advanced analytics in partnership with data science counterparts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps, GTM Operations, Marketing Ops, and business stakeholders to align analytics work to commercial priorities
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or finance operations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of B2B GTM and revenue metrics including pipeline health, funnel conversion, retention, expansion, and forecasting; familiarity with Salesforce reporting required, experience with Marketo or Gong is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build intuitive dashboards and compelling visualizations that help business leaders understand performance, identify opportunities, and make confident, data-driven decisions across a variety of analytics platforms
  • Strong command of SQL and hands-on experience querying large datasets in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery); comfort navigating messy, high-volume data is essential
  • Clear, confident communicator who can translate complex data into plain language for senior stakeholders, with strong cross-functional instincts and comfort working across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and technical teams
  • Genuine curiosity about AI-assisted analytics and intelligent automation, and willingness to actively adopt emerging tools
