Labcorp is seeking an Information Architect in the Durham, NC location!
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
We are seeking an experienced Information Architect with healthcare domain expertise to support enterprise analytics across laboratory, clinical, and operational data. This role partners with Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI teams to design analytics-ready data models, enable trusted data, and improve data discoverability using modern, AI-assisted metadata capabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain analytics-focused data models, including:
    • Star schema / dimensional models for reporting and BI
    • Relational data models supporting enterprise analytics
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to transform complex healthcare and lab data into clear, usable information
  • Support semantic models, KPIs, and metric standardization across analytics platforms
  • Contribute to data catalog, dictionary, and lineage using AI-enabled tools for improved discovery and trust
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure shared definitions and consistent data usage
  • Support data governance, quality, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in Information Architecture or Data Architecture
  • 1 or more years of experience with Star schema and dimensional modeling
  • 1 or more years of experience with Relational database design
  • 1 or more years of experience with SQL and analytics platforms

Additional job standards
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or clinical data
  • Exposure to AI-assisted data management, metadata, catalog, or lineage tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical teams
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI)
  • Experience with data governance or enterprise metadata platforms
  • Background supporting advanced analytics or AI/ML use cases
