Job description

As a WDSU intern, you will come to understand how a television station operates and be expected to contribute to the operation. You will be engaged in the newsroom, assisting producers, editors, assignment editors, reporters, photographers, and anchors. The intern will also have the opportunity to accompany crews in the field and may even have the opportunity to field produce.

Hearst Television (HTV) owns and/or operates 35 television and two radio stations serving 27 media markets across 39 states reaching over 22 million U.S. television households. HTV is recognized as one of the industry's premier broadcasting companies and has been honored with numerous awards for distinguished journalism, industry innovation, and community service.

An interest in journalism
The ability to be versatile, as interns handle a wide range of topics and subjects
