American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and pediatric cath experience for a low-volume pediatric cardiac cath lab

Details
  • Work in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab classified as a low-volume unit with approximately 140 cases per year
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Uses Epic for charting and GE Mac Lab equipment
  • EP procedures may be included, with Claris system used for electrophysiology cases
  • Call requirements vary, starting at 2 shifts per week with potential gradual increase based on lab needs
  • Candidates will float within scope of practice if needed
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required
  • Pediatric cath lab experience required
  • EP experience preferred but not required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience with GE Mac Lab required; Claris experience preferred for EP cases
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification required
  • BSN preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Active VA or compact state license required at time of consideration
  • 2 professional references required
Additional Information
  • Perform pediatric and EP cardiac catheterization procedures as part of a specialized cath lab team
  • Facility maintains a natural nail policy
  • Facility is a drug and tobacco free workplace with no smoking allowed on campus
  • Orientation includes required training modules completed through the facility's Learning Exchange, to be finished by the Friday of orientation week
  • Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
  • Both travelers and permanent staff must have a gap of one year before returning to the facility as a traveler
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • Time off requests must be submitted at time of consideration and are subject to manager approval; no time off is guaranteed, including holidays
  • No time off will be granted during the first week of the assignment
