About the Internship
Join Tension Envelope & Print for a paid, 8-week, hands-on internship with real exposure to operations, sales, logistics, lean manufacturing, and general management. You'll rotate through key functions, contribute to day-to-day work, and finish with a capstone presentation.

Role
Sales & Business Operations Intern
What You'll Learn & Do
You'll complete structured weekly rotations across core business areas, including:
  • Production & Manufacturing Operations: operator training, quality inspection, plate making, and production preparation
  • Planning, Logistics & Supply Chain: production scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and shipping/receiving
  • Lean & Continuous Improvement: lean principles, waste reduction, standard work, improvement charters, and lean assessments
  • Customer Support: estimating, order entry, and internal/external customer communication (Teams)
  • Sales & Commercial Operations: CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), sales methodology exposure (Miller Heiman), Power BI reporting, call planning, and field days with Account Executives
  • General Management Exposure: margin strategy, budgeting, monthly results, business reviews, and leadership touchpoints
  • Capstone Project: deliver a final presentation to leadership and sales teams

Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (business, operations, supply chain, engineering, marketing, or related field)
  • Curious, coachable, and comfortable learning in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Organized and reliable; able to balance multiple priorities
  • Basic comfort with Microsoft Excel; interest in Power BI/CRM is a plus
