Job Elements & Position Responsibilities
    • Supports, plans, and design of manufacturing processes, equipment, and industrial services in a facility focused on injection molding of silicones and TPEs with secondary finishing operations.
    • Objectives include: Provide support to the engineering team in the areas of equipment design and optimization, tooling and fixture design, injection molding and secondary processing support.
    • Project work may include but are not limited to:
      • Quick Changeover (SMED)
      • Ergonomic analysis of work stations
      • 5S support
      • Continuous improvement projects
      • Supporting sustainability projects coordinated by the engineering group
      • Kaizen projects and support
      • Work Instruction creation
      • IQ, OQ, PQ documentation
      • Scrap rate analysis and scrap reduction
      • PFMEA support
      • Capability study projects

    Required Qualifications
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Self-directed, detail oriented and ability to work well independently with ever changing priorities and demanding deadlines
    • Works well in a multi-functional team environment
    • Self-motivated and confident, with the ability to take initiative
    • High level of enthusiasm and sense of urgency
    • A commitment to quality, with excellent attention to detail
