Job description

Overview

The Development Coordinator will implement, and coordinate initiatives that enhance or support fundraising efforts for Annual Giving and provide administrative support to the Directors of Children's Miracle Network and Annual Giving, which includes managing budgets, coordinating intern programs, organizing calendar requests, and other duties as necessary. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing annual giving programs related to grateful patient acquisition, fundraising and donor retention, as well as digital fundraising initiatives, preparing reports and providing administrative support for online platforms. The Development Coordinator will coordinate tasks around Privacy procedures with confidentiality and accuracy, and also coordinates programs related to special fundraising initiatives under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving Operations and Assistant Director of Annual Giving. The Development Coordinator will also serve as an event specialist for third-party partner fundraising events. Eighty-five percent of time is spent exercising discretion, independent judgment and problem solving to manage project tasks, which include the use of dynamic databases and the production of high level documents, requiring high-level organization, mastery of software programs and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Prior annual giving, development, event planning, database management and/or direct marketing experience preferred.


Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: A Bachelor's degree is required (Master's degree preferred) and 1-3 year's experience required. Ability to work well with internal and external constituents with excellent customer service. Strong leadership, organization, communication and computer skills required. Previous experience preferred in data management, donor relations, project management, coordinating special events and campaigns, and independent use of personal computer applications including word processing and data spreadsheets. Annual giving or marketing experience preferred.
