IT Intern


Location: North Liberty, IA

Status: Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible M-F, 4 hours/day, no weekends required

Reports to: Director of eCommerce

Position Overview:

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and assisting with various projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Help Desk requests by receiving, triaging, and responding to them promptly.
  • Troubleshooting issues with Spotix-owned equipment, including phones, laptops, desktops, printers, and headsets.
  • Addressing software issues, particularly with Windows and Google products.
  • Assisting with asset management and conducting audits.
  • Supporting the Technology/eCommerce team on projects, such as spreadsheet management and CSV imports.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-direction.
  • Strong initiative to identify and resolve issues, with clear and effective communication of solutions.
  • Collaborative approach to working with both internal and external team members.
  • A curious mindset and attention to detail in problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Background in customer service, including professional and patient handling of requests.
  • Experience with remote customer support and VPN access is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
