Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Location: Heritage Drive

Supervisor, Inventory Control

The Supervisor, Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining high standards in inventory accuracy, quality, training, development, and productivity. This role ensures the integrity of inventory processes and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain facility inventory integrity through cycle counts and various audits.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and production reports.
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly physical inventories and develop follow-up reporting.
  • Gather and analyze data related to operations, inventory control, and customer requirements.
  • Perform internal audits and supplemental cycle counts to validate process accuracy.
  • Promote and reinforce FedEx Supply Chain's employee culture within the facility.
  • Ensure achievement of facility production and quality objectives.
  • Facilitate regular safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Train and update teammates on job functions and procedural changes.
  • Monitor compliance with FedEx Supply Chain's Core Excellence Program.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, stock accounting, metrics monitoring, reporting, and budgeting.
  • In lieu of a degree, high school diploma or GED with 7 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
