Position Overview:
Celina City Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) teacher to serve grades 9-12 in 2026-2027 and 7-12 in 2027-2028. The successful candidate will provide students with hands-on learning experiences that build practical life skills, encourage personal development, and prepare students for post-secondary independence.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging FCS curriculum aligned to Ohio Learning Standards.
  • Teach courses such as culinary arts, nutrition, child development, personal finance, and career readiness.
  • Integrate project-based and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to support student learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
  • Participate in departmental, school, and district initiatives.
  • Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth and respect.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Ohio teaching license in Family & Consumer Sciences or Health Education.
