Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and passionate about vehicles and technology? Nielsen Fleet is looking for, and willing to train, aย motivated Vehicle Accessories Installer to help upfit and customize police, fire, and emergency response vehicles with cutting-edge equipment and accessories.
This is more than a typical automotive role โ€” youโ€™ll work on specialized fleet vehicles, install advanced equipment, and be part of a team that helps first responders stay mission-ready.
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Install aftermarket accessories on new and used fleet vehicles
  • Upfit emergency vehicles with lighting, electronics, push bumpers, running boards, audio systems, and more
  • Remove and reinstall OEM interiors with care and precision
  • Perform electrical installations and modifications for emergency equipment
  • Inspect completed work to ensure top-quality results
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and find practical solutions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to meet project deadlines
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Experience with automotive accessories, vehicle upfitting, or general automotive work preferred
