Job description

Elite Vehicle Solutions is seeking Automotive Electronics and Accessory Installer(s) and accessory Technician(s). Technicians conduct installations, de-installations, and repairs of automotive electronics using company-approved methods and workmanship standards.

Location: Central NJ. We service Government agencies and Private Fleets with vehicle upfits of emergency lighting and advanced technology. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Automotive Electronics and Accessories.
  • Maintain proper service paperwork.
  • Maintain customer relations on an operational level.
  • Provide technical assistance to client personnel and customers with product functionality.

Preferred but not required:

  • 2-3 years of experience in mobile electronics, devices, or other 12-Volt installations, such as navigation systems, car alarms, or stereo, preferred.
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to make individual quality decisions independent of direct supervision, set proper task priorities, and efficiently manage time and company resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of mobile electronics or other 12-Volt installations, including lighting systems, car alarms, car stereos/audio, etc.
  • Other technical training and experience will be considered.
  • A background in electronic components, the automotive industry, and equipment maintenance is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).

All applicants are required to demonstrate the ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including background checks, motor vehicle checks, and pre-employment drug tests, and be able to present a valid driver's license.
