About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Data Governance, this part-time, flexible-schedule role is designed for a current college student looking to gain real-world experience improving how a growing organization documents and manages its business processes. You'll play a key role in modernizing Famous Supply's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using AI-assisted tools, and help build the systems and structure that keep them accurate and current going forward.

Primary Job Responsibilities
· Review, standardize, and modernize existing SOPs across departments, using AI tools to speed up drafting, formatting, and quality checks
· Validate SOP accuracy and completeness by working directly with the business groups that own each process
· Help design and build an organization-wide SOP management structure, housed in SharePoint, including version control, ownership, and review cadence
· Build simple, repeatable tools and processes for creating future SOPs efficiently, incorporating AI where useful
· Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated procedures and recommend improvements
· Document findings and progress clearly for the Data Governance team

Required Experience and Skills
· Currently enrolled in college (Freshman - Senior), pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, Logistics, or a related field
· Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
· Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support research and document creation
· Ability to work independently and manage tasks across a flexible schedule
· Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Experience and Skills
· Prior exposure to process improvement, technical writing, or data/document organization
· Familiarity with SharePoint (training will be provided)
· Interest in long-term growth within a data or process improvement function

Schedule & Growth
This role is 10-20 hours per week with flexibility built around class schedules. Strong performers will have the opportunity to take on future projects with the broader Data Team.
