We are looking for an Intern to join our Claims team in our Montreal office!

As an Intern, you will be responsible to provides clerical support to our claim’s advisors, including managing claims related tasks, mail handling, and data entry in Lineage and LEO. This role also includes responsibility for accounting-related tasks tied to our Lloyds contracts, such as reconciling our accounts and processing checks.

Your Day as an Intern in Claims

  • Lineage: Opening new claims and processing related transactions in lineage and LEO.
  • Inbox Management: Opening new claims, issuing open/close notices, organizing files, generating/treating loss runs, and deleting claims.
  • Mail Handling: Collecting incoming mail and processing claim-related correspondence.
  • Check Processing: Managing Lloyds and MUNI checks, entering data, scanning, and preparing items for mailing.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a college or bachelor’s degree
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Knowledge of EPIC, an asset.
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders outside Quebec.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Sense of organization and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
