Job Title: Sr. Functional Analyst, eCommerce Location-Type: Hybrid, Charlotte, NC (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract-to-Hire, 6 months Compensation Range: $45.55/hr - $53.59/hr Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The Sr. Functional Analyst, eCommerce partners closely with Product Management, Development, and QA teams to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables, driving the rollout and ongoing operation of the client's digital commerce platform. Job Summary Partner with Product Management, business subject matter experts, and technology teams to gather, document, and refine business, functional, and system requirements. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and supporting documentation to ensure development and QA teams have what they need to move forward. Translate business requirements into solution designs in collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, and Development teams. Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, release preparation, and delivery coordination activities to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog. Track dependencies, risks, action items, and follow-up activities across initiatives, communicating status across development, QA, and business teams. Assist with website configuration, catalog management, content administration, issue triage, and troubleshooting efforts as needed. Document platform configurations, business processes, and operational procedures to maintain standards across project deliverables. Minimum Requirements: 5 years of experience in Functional Analysis, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Support, or a related role. Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements and working with software development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. General understanding of application architecture, integrations, and system functionality, with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple or conflicting priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting B2B or enterprise eCommerce platforms, with OroCommerce administration, configuration, or support experience highly desirable. Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments. Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release management, and production support activities. Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including the ability to query data, validate business requirements, support troubleshooting, and analyze system behavior. Technical curiosity and willingness to learn platform administration and configuration tools.
