About The Team: The E-commerce Strategy team for TikTok Shop plays a critical role in setting direction and accelerating growth of the US market. The team operates at the center of global strategy planning, research and analysis, partnering closely with regional and industry leaders to identify market opportunity, determine operation directions and set key team targets. We are looking for a Strategy & Analytics Associate for Business Analytics team. Responsibilities: - Develop short-term and long-term scale and revenue targets for our Global E-commerce business, focusing on establishing a metric system, setting business goals, and developing performance tracking mechanisms. - Leverage insights from analysis to provide informed recommendations for future business strategy. - Conduct thorough market segmentation research and track industry trends to identify potential business opportunities. - Familiarity with E-commerce business logic and analytical frameworks, possessing the ability to think structurally, provide data-driven insights, identify key factors, simplify complex issues, align thinking with business objectives. - Identify problems and business pain points (focusing on merchant growth, traffic efficiency/conversion, and user behavior) to help the business increase revenue.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years of work experience. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL/Python. - Experience in strategic consulting and analysis. - Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, excellent logical thinking, and data sensitivity. - Ability to quickly grasp business contexts and identify key business drivers behind data. Preferred Qualification: - Experience in operations analysis, business analysis, and data analysis in the e-commerce industry is strongly preferred.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $198360 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
