Located in Longueuil, on the South Shore of Montreal, this plant is not only the centre par excellence of the largest players in the aerospace industry for landing gear repair and maintenance, but also the plant that is recognized for the manufacture of the famous legs of the Apollo 11 lunar module.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of a database of non-conformities in the assembly and painting departments
  • Support the production team in providing feedback on non-conformities to employees
  • Accompany and support operational managers in their daily activities
  • Monitor and improve production performance indicators
  • Coordinate the modification of operational instructions
  • Resolve industrial problems and monitor projects
  • Actively participate in various continuous improvement workshops
  • Support technical specialists in documenting supplier non-conformities or customer returns
  • Support technical specialists in updating technical documentation and training materials

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations and Logistics Management (in progress) (approximately 4-month internship)
  • College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Construction, or Aircraft Maintenance (in progress) (approximately 4-month internship)
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness
  • Ability to communicate technical issues effectively
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Basic knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing) is an asset
