Job description

As a Kubota Intern, you will engage in hands-on work in a targeted business area, enhancing skills in time management, effective communication and teamwork. This position will provide you with valuable practical experience through working in a professional environment, developing your business acumen.

**The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work closely with our Engineering Supervisor to support handson projects involving Kubota’s agriculture and construction equipment. This role includes assisting with mechanical design updates, testing and validating components, documenting engineering changes, and helping translate technical findings into clear internal materials. A strong interest in heavy equipment, mechanical systems, and practical engineering problemsolving is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is required.**

Duration: June 1st - August 7th, 2026

Hours:  Monday through Friday (40 hours) 

Location:  Onsite - Corporate Office - Grapevine, Texas (Dallas/Ft Worth area)
Salary: $18.00 hr.

 

Capstone Project

Interns will be assigned a Capstone project that will be presented to Executive leadership at the conclusion of the program. Each Capstone will provide the Intern with an opportunity to create solutions that display their perspective and acquired knowledge. These projects could even be implemented into our everyday business practices. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University, working toward a bachelor’s degree.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written. 
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management, dealers, and customers.
  • High level of skill in decision making, problem solving and analytics. 
  • Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills. 
  • Integrity, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.  

Relocation, sponsorship nor housing is not available.
