Job description

Site Contracts Intern

Our Site Contracts team is growing, and we are currently seeking office-based intern(s) to support our team within our Site Activation and Maintenance (SAM) Department. This group plays a key role in the study start-up/site activation process at Medpace by communicating with research sites (doctor's offices, universities, hospitals, etc.) to negotiate contracts and budgets before the site begins to screen patients to participate in a clinical trial. The Site Contracts Intern will provide support to the Contract Specialists and Managers as they negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements, manage contractual timelines, and identify contract related risks. This position is fully office-based in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to the contracts team
  • Quality control of documents
  • Prepare amendments to the Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) and budgets
  • Maintain tracking of documents through Medpace's internal database (ClinTrak)
  • Support the signature process

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and pursuing JD or Bachelors degree in Legal Studies, Business, Communications, or Operations.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. Full-time preferred
