Interns gain hands-on experience with scientific techniques and learn about the biotech industry, which can be valuable for future careers in science and technology. They may also attend meetings, contribute to reports, and collaborate with other team members. This role provides a practical understanding of how scientific research is conducted in a professional setting.

What types of projects and responsibilities can an intern in biotech expect to work on during their internship?

As a Biotech Intern, you can expect to be involved in hands-on laboratory work, such as assisting with experiments, preparing samples, and analyzing data under the supervision of experienced scientists. You may also contribute to ongoing research projects, help maintain lab equipment, and participate in team meetings to discuss findings. Collaboration with other interns and professionals from diverse backgrounds, such as molecular biology, bioinformatics, and quality assurance, is common. This exposure provides valuable insight into various aspects of biotech research and helps build practical skills for future career advancement.
