Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we build software that helps mission teams see more, understand more, and act faster. In this role, you will join the Mission Intelligence team to support a business intelligence platform that drives data-informed decisions across the enterprise. Your first priority will be keeping this mission-essential platform available and reliable. From there, you will also help design, develop, and integrate analytics and automation solutions that turn large data sets into mission insight.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This role gives you a rare mix of platform ownership, software engineering, analytics, and automation. You will help strengthen the reliability of a production business intelligence platform while also building new ETL workflows, analytics, and data solutions that improve mission awareness. The work spans site reliability principles, software development, data engineering, and stakeholder engagement, so your impact shows up in both day-to-day operations and long-term platform growth.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your contribution matters. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another engineering role. It is a chance to help sustain a critical platform while building the next layer of mission insight on top of it.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
  • Help maintain and advance a mission-essential business intelligence platform
  • Incrementally introduce site reliability engineering principles into an existing operational environment
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders and turn them into practical analytics and reporting solutions
  • Develop analytics that combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets
  • Design and implement ETL workflows to convert and normalize data
  • Augment the platform with new tools and technologies that improve mission awareness
  • Provide guidance to junior software engineers and data scientists
  • Create clear written documentation for internal teams and customer-facing needs

Minimum Qualifications
  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
  • 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor's degree

Required Skills
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Production-grade software development experience in Java and Python
  • Experience with or familiarity with site reliability engineering principles
  • Familiarity with customer authentication and authorization platforms and standards
  • Experience productizing software as containers and deploying with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Confidence with Git and GitLab for software version control
  • Confidence with basic to intermediate Linux system administration tasks
  • Willingness to contribute to internal and customer-facing written documentation

Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Kibana
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of map-reduce analytic environments such as Hadoop
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations
  • Experience with frontend UI development
Compensation Range: $203,000.00 - $260,000.00
