This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an activeTS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.Candidates who do not currently hold these credentials will not be considered.
Description:
Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.
Mandatory Skills:
1. Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
2. a. Performing schema updates
3. b. Possessing significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
4. c. Possessing significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
5. d. Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
6. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
7. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
8. College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Optional Skills:
1.
• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
2.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB.
