The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead - Join our Water & Wastewater Design team as an Intermediate Civil Engineer and help shape the future of municipal infrastructure. In this role, you'll design systems that sustain communities, collaborate with industry-leading professionals, and take ownership of meaningful projects-all while advancing your career in a dynamic, supportive environment.


Your Impact

  • Design and deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects, contributing to all technical phases from concept through construction.
  • Provide technical design support for sanitary sewers, water mains, site layout, utility layout, grading, cut and fill optimisation, and drainage.
  • Prepare precise engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates to ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Support field investigations and construction inspections, providing timely technical solutions and responding to site queries.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client meetings to achieve seamless, high-quality project outcomes.
  • Assist project managers in tracking progress, schedules, and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Contribute to proposal development and internal quality reviews, helping secure new business and maintain technical excellence.
  • Grow your expertise through active learning, mentorship, and engagement in a collaborative, innovative team environment.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognised institution, with E.I.T. or P.Eng. registration in Manitoba (or eligibility).
  • 5-8 years' hands-on experience designing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Manitoba/Canadian design standards, codes, and approval processes.
  • Skilled in hydraulic evaluations, feasibility studies, design reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
  • Experience preparing detailed tender packages and supporting office and field-related construction services.

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
