Position Description: Human Resources Administrator


As a Human Resources Administrator, you will provide dependable, detail-oriented support across Evergreen's corepeopleprocesses. This role helps keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly bymaintainingaccuraterecords, coordinating recruiting and onboarding tasks, supporting benefits and employee programs, and responding to team member needs with care and confidentiality.

We are looking for someone who enjoys organized follow-through, communicates clearly, and is comfortable supporting a busy, people-centered department in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities:


  • MaintainaccurateHR records, team member files, and documentation in BambooHR and other HR systems.
  • Support recruiting activities, including applicant sourcing for hiring manager review, interview coordination, candidate communication, and applicant tracking updates.
  • Assistwith onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection, task tracking, system updates, and coordination with new team members and managers.
  • Providetimely, helpful responses to routine team member questions and route more complex questions to theappropriate HRteam member when needed.
  • Support benefits administration by helping with enrollment documentation, team member questions, records updates, and related follow-up.
  • Assistwith payroll-related administrative tasks, including reviewing and organizing HR information needed for the semi-monthly payroll process.
  • Coordinate team member recognition gifts and related HR programs, including anniversaries and Get Out and Play recognition.
  • Helpmaintainand update HR documents, including personnel change notices, andotherteam member administrative documents.
  • Assist with HRreporting, special projects, and other relatedduties asassigned.

Position Qualifications:


The position requires high customer satisfaction and going out of the way to be helpful, respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong and positive working relationships. Candidates must be receptive to feedback, willing to learn, and comfortable supporting work that requires confidentiality, accuracy, and follow-through.Additionalqualifications include:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, adapt to changes in workload, and respond quickly to short-notice requests.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned work, follow through on expectations, and ask thoughtful questions when clarification is needed.
  • Comfort working independently in a virtual environment while staying available, responsive, and connected to the team.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Adobe Acrobat experience is helpful.
  • Ability to use HR systems, databases, spreadsheets, and tracking tools foraccuratedata entry, reporting, and recordkeeping.
  • Proficiencyin the use of general office equipment and basic math.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of four years of progressively responsible administrative, office support, human resources, or operations support experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions whilemaintaininga high degree of organization, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, benefits administration, onboarding, records management, or other HR support functions preferred but notrequired.
  • Previousexperience working in a virtual environment is helpful but notrequired.

  • A solid internet connection, a dedicated and fully equipped home office for public or client-facing virtual on-screen meetings and a reliable phone.
  • Evergreen will provide a computer (programs for the position included in the computer setup), two monitors, a monitor stand, speakers, a webcam, a docking station, a wireless keyboard and mouse and a surge suppressor.
  • We are a fully remote telecommuting organization. This position offers a significant amount of flexibility in line with meeting responsibilities. Some evening and early morning meetings and events may occasionally be necessary.
