Job Summary:
ClifyX is a company specializing in data solutions, and they are seeking an ETL Teradata Developer. The main purpose of this role is to work with Teradata and Informatica to support data architecture and ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow and addressing any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
• Good understanding of Teradata Architecture and ETL concepts and know Teradata utilities like Fastload, Mutiload, BTEQ
• Proficient in writing SQL and experienced in performance tuning with Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Needs to investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes.
• Work as bridge between client and team to communicate requirements and collaborate to provide comments and suggestions, and work with functional teams to achieve goals
• Experience in Teradata and Informatica
• Remediating specific tables and schemes in Terada
• Creating views on top of them and making sure existing reporting does not break
• At present, informatica is used for lot of jobs for Teradata. So resources needs to have some informatica skills.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 to 7 years of experience
• Good understanding of Teradata Architecture and ETL concepts
• Knowledge of Teradata utilities like Fastload, Mutiload, BTEQ
• Proficient in writing SQL
• Experienced in performance tuning
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Ability to investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code
• Ability to provide fixes and workarounds
• Ability to review changes
• Work as a bridge between client and team to communicate requirements
