We are presently searching for an Intermediate Designer for our Silicon Valley (Mountain View, CA) Studio. The Intermediate Designer, while working with Junior Designer and under the supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, the Intermediate Designer provides design support primarily in project administration, design development and contract documents.
Specific responsibilities will include:
โ€ข Space Planning & test fits
โ€ข Assists senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishes
โ€ข At direction of senior designers, may provide suggested details for interior design projects
โ€ข Researches and collects details for furniture and finish cost estimates
โ€ข Develops preliminary plans
Qualifications:
โ€ข Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted
โ€ข 3+ years' experience in corporate interior design projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
โ€ข Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics
โ€ข Familiarity with space planning methodology
โ€ข Familiarity with furnishings and finishes
โ€ข Intermediate sketching and rendering skills
โ€ข Advanced Revit skills
โ€ข Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,000 annually, based on education, licensing, and relevant industry experience
