Job description

NVIDIA is looking for a highly qualified and ambitious Senior DevOps Engineer to become a member of the GeForce NOW R&D Team. In this role, you will take ownership of maintaining and optimising our infrastructure, supporting and improving current CI/CD processes, involved in the processes of developing and improving observability across content-related services.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, and improve performance by addressing bottlenecks. Managing tools and enabling automations for redundant manual workflows via Gitlab, Jenkins, Terraform, etc

  • Improve monitoring and observability mechanisms in all aspects of content services

  • Optimise infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce operational overhead

  • Participate in the on-call rotation and identify and resolve content-related service issues to ensure our systems operate flawlessly.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure roles

  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)

  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes, AWS and ELK stack

  • Administrator-level knowledge of both Linux and Windows systems

  • Proven Python programming skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design

  • Good social skills, effective verbal and written communication

  • Intermediate/upper-intermediate technical English.

  • Experience working in distributed international teams

  • Self-motivation, engagement, openness, integrity, ability to learn and develop

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Java will be a big plus

  • Practical experience working with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins

  • Background in software development with a strong understanding of application architecture and deployment patterns

  • Familiarity with security procedures and compliance requirements in cloud environments

  • If you like to deal with non-standard engineering and infrastructure challenges

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3, and 176,000 USD - 276,000 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
