Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $55-$60 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer IV to join our team, focusing on the design, development, and support of critical security tools. This role involves working closely with the security and developer teams to ensure public-facing product lines are released with optimal security. The ideal candidate will be a software developer with a strong background in reducing security attacks through foundational product security fixes and a passion for developing user-friendly web-based tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support application security tools for use by the security team and application developers.
  • Ensure secure release practices for public-facing product lines.
  • Conduct deep dives into SAST/DAST/SCA scan data and logs to identify and remediate security gaps.
  • Build automation tools and REST APIs for enhancing security processes and web applications.
  • Collaborate with product development teams in an Agile environment to deliver secure and reliable applications in short sprints.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and ReactJS.
  • Experience with security analysis tools (e.g., Appscan, Checkmarx).
  • Ability to build automation tools and REST APIs.
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in secure DevOps space, especially related to web applications, is critical for this role.
