The Opportunity

You will serve as a critical design leader, driving the successful execution of high-end residential kitchen installations. This role allows you to mentor the next generation of interior designers while ensuring luxury-level execution for an expanding company. You will have the autonomy to manage complex design processes with a clear trajectory toward department co-leadership.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead all specialized kitchen design projects from initial client consultation through final installation sign-off.
  • Develop full luxury design packages including spatial layouts, cabinet specifications, material selections, and 3D renderings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior design professionals to elevate technical proficiency and department standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and cabinet vendors to ensure designs are buildable and on budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify design intent and resolve real-time technical construction constraints.
  • Formulate internal design standards, templates, and repeatable systems to optimize overall team performance

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience specifically within high-end residential kitchen design.
  • Proven portfolio reflecting luxury kitchen execution, complex spatial problem solving, and detailed cabinetry integration.
  • Proficiency in technical design software such as Chief Architect, 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or Revit.
  • Strong background working directly within a general contracting or design-build environment alongside field teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of working hours for regional project assignments.
  • Demonstrated natural inclination or experience coaching, teaching, and elevating junior design staff.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a Trade Program, Technical Certification, or equivalent professional credential.
  • Active NKBA certification (National Kitchen & Bath Association).
  • Advanced knowledge of Colorado building codes and permit requirements as they relate to kitchen remodels.
