Job description

As architects, designers, workplace strategists and environmental specialists in the largest global architecture firm concentrating exclusively on interiors, we help clients articulate and align their business strategies and core values with the dynamic use of space.
Our team members are highly collaborative, creative, professional and entrepreneurial. Joining our team requires skill, passion, curiosity, collaboration, drive, a sense of humor and a love of interiors. We are presently searching for an Intermediate Experiential Designer in our San Francisco Studio.
Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, and participate in the exploration of opportunities to amplify the character of a place, creatively expressing the brand identity in in captivating and imaginative ways.
  • Work with the project team to conceptualize, design and document impactful graphics, art, displays, signage/wayfinding, and interactive experiences for a broad spectrum of client brands as both 2D environmental graphics and 3D dimensional installations.
  • Participate in creating a cohesive visual style for each project that will guide the graphic development of individual elements forward.
  • Design and develop project presentations and edit plans, elevations, renderings and mood boards to represent and document the design.
  • Produce project tasks independently, solicit review and direction and implement feedback / revisions with accuracy.

Required Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or Architecture.
  • 3+ years design experience in a studio environment, with some experiential design (EGD) experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid branding and graphic design sensibilities, with an understanding of color usage, typography & composition. Ability to think spatially, and visualize the design of the built environment.
  • Some experience in the phases of EGD projects, with the ability to communicate progress to the team.
  • Clear communication and ability to present to internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign (+CADtools), Illustrator, Acrobat), and MS Office required.
  • Strong work ethic, with ability to be efficient, proactive, flexible and have a positive spirit. Desire to work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, and strategists. We work in integrated, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in Revit and 3D modeling software (Enscape /Sketchup /Vray /Max); ability to hand sketch or digitally render; ability in video editing and creative technology would be a plus.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,000 annually based on relevant industry experience and education.
