Job description

We are a rapidly growing orthopedic medical group expanding our footprint across Metro Atlanta. Our growth includes new and renovated clinical office spaces, physical therapy facilities, and ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs). We design environments that elevate patient experience, streamline provider workflow, and support exceptional orthopedic care.
As we expand, we're seeking an Interior Architect who thrives in healthcare environments and is passionate about designing functional, modern, patient-centered spaces.
As our Interior Architect, you will lead the interior planning and design for a range of healthcare project types, including:
  • Orthopedic clinics and exam spaces
  • Physical therapy and rehabilitation facilities
  • Procedure and surgical suite environments
  • Administrative and clinical support areas

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to design for clinical efficiency, patient flow, accessibility, and regulatory compliance within healthcare interiors.
What You'll Do
  • Develop space plans, interior layouts, and detailed drawings that support clinical workflow and orthopedic care delivery.
  • Create finish plans, materials palettes, FFE specifications, and lighting concepts aligned with our brand and patient-experience goals.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA, life-safety, FGI, and healthcare-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, PT leadership, and surgical operations to tailor designs to specialty needs.
  • Prepare presentation materials, design boards, and digital models for leadership and stakeholder review.
  • Conduct site visits, field measurements, and construction administration as required.
  • Work closely with contractors, equipment planners, and vendors throughout project execution.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Registered or ability to register as an Architect in Georgia.
  • 3+ years of experience designing healthcare interiors (medical office, ASC, PT, or similar strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D visualization tools.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare codes and interior planning standards.
  • Ability to balance creativity with function, efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; experience collaborating with clinical staff is a plus.
