Job description

The S/L/A/M Collaborative is seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of 7+ years of experience to join our office in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in managing all phases of interiors projects, including project set-up, design, and consultant/vendor coordination
  • Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team members
  • Develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlines
  • Maintain positive communications with colleagues, clients and consultants
  • Attend client meetings in-house and at client sites
  • Contribute to the growth, development, and success of the Atlanta office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working as an interior designer
  • Sports and/or hospitality design experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with the architectural design process and integration of interior design, including programming, planning, research, design development, construction documents, and overall project execution
  • Working knowledge of FF&E, furniture systems, color and material selections, and specifications
  • Experience with Revit required plus knowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign, Sketch-up and/or 3-D Studio Max a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an effective team
  • Self-starter, responsible, organized, highly motivated, and detail orientated
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
  • NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer or in the pursuit thereof
