Job description

Basic Function: Execute conceptual interior architecture designs, ensuring projects meet aesthetic, functional, and client-specific goals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to gather design requirements for new construction, renovations or alterations.
  • Prepare, revise, and update design documents during schematic, design development and construction document phases.
  • Select and specify interior architectural materials, finishes, furniture, artwork, equipment, lighting and related elements as required by each project’s unique scope.
  • Coordinate lighting and color schemes to create cohesive design solutions.
  • Manage and execute design assignments efficiently within established deadlines.
  • Develop innovative, practical, and safe design concepts that align with client goals and project budgets.
  • Render conceptual design ideas.
  • Analyze programming data to execute space planning concepts and optimize space utilization based on client’s objectives and space constraints.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate and present design options and ideas.
  • Ensure project deliverables adhere to industry best practices, company quality standards, and schedule. .
  • Integrate sustainable design principles into all projects.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Knowledgeable in 3-D rendering programs (Twinmotion, Enscape, or similar).
  • Strong visualization, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to combine aesthetics with functionality and building mechanics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.

Education/Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in interior design or equivalent years of experience is preferred.
  • NCIDQ Certification Preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience.
