M & M Home Contractors Inc is looking for a talented and driven Interior Designer / Project Coordinator to join our team in Cologne, MN! In this exciting dual role, you'll bring creative design visions to life while keeping projects running smoothly from concept to completion. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for residential and/or commercial projects
  • Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
  • Communicate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to align design intent with construction execution
  • Source and specify materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design standards are met
  • Manage project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders
Requirements:
  • Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in interior design and/or project coordination
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
