ABOUT THE POSITION

Mammoth Sports Construction is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and execution of interior environments from concept through completion while collaborating closely with project managers, architects, senior designers, and clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, possesses strong technical and creative skills, and can effectively manage multiple project responsibilities while delivering high-quality design solutions that align with client goals and Mammoth’s standards of excellence.

JOB LOCATION: Meriden, Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri

ESSTENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and execution of interior design projects from concept through construction and installation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and design team members to develop creative and functional design solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussions to understand project goals and design requirements.
  • Develop space plans, mood boards, finish palettes, and interior design concepts that align with client objectives.
  • Prepare design presentations, renderings, and visualizations to communicate concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and other design elements.
  • Assist with FF&E packages, product specifications, procurement coordination, and installation documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and construction process.
  • Produce and maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Review project drawings and documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with design intent.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging materials, sustainability practices, and best practices in interior design.
  • Support project timelines and budgets by managing assigned tasks efficiently and proactively.
  • Assist in mentoring interns and entry-level designers through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
