This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Atlantic Fields set in Hobe Sound, FL
Atlantic Fields is seeking a Buyer Liaison to join the Development Department.
The Buyer Liaison will engage and coordinate with the development, architecture and design, construction, warranty, and residential service teams in an effort to provide timely and accurate information to the buyer, ensuring that the homebuyer experience is fluid and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

Attend customer meetings with the Interior Design Manager to review selections for each home and take design notes.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with consultants.

Communicate design notes to consultants and design team to incorporate buyer selections into the construction documents.

Attend and lead meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients as necessary. Provide meeting notes and minutes.

Coordinate with client's consultants and vendors in the execution of their home.

Partner with construction team(s), ensuring they have the latest information and updates.

Monitor both design and construction schedules and report status to buyer on a regular basis. Should delays arise, communicate with the appropriate team(s) to align the message.

Schedule and attend all construction walks with the buyer or on the buyer's behalf, should they not be able to attend. Provide a report to the buyer as a follow up.

Attend punch walks and identify items that are incorrect or meet quality standards.

Schedule and attend home turnover event and ensure that all turnover documents are compiled and ready for presentation to the owner.

Schedule and attend introduction meetings to the warranty and residential services teams following turnover. Ensure that both teams arrive prepared with appropriate documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, OR Construction Management Preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience within the construction industry (luxury level projects preferred.)

Design or architecture background preferred but not required.

Depth of understanding operations, both front and back of the house, specifically concerning the design, planning, and programming of new construction.

Proficiency in the following programs: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.)

Intimate knowledge of construction means and methods to properly design, value engineer, and manage the construction process.

Previous experience managing department project schedules and budgets.

Previous experience supervising and planning the work of technical and professional subordinates.

Ability to interpret and carry out complex oral and written instructions, including reading and interpreting blueprint specifications.

Considerable knowledge of the modern principles, processes, and practices of architecture, engineering, and interior design.

Ability to reference applicable codes and regulatory agency guidelines.

Additional Requirements

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.

Must be able to work flexible work hours as needed due to business demands.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
