Summary

Join Chenega as a Visitor Control/PIV Enrollment Specialist at Glenn Research Center, Ohio, where you'll play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at NASA Glenn Research Center. In this position, you'll support visitor access, employee badging, and identity management processes that help keep critical operations running smoothly and securely.


Responsibilities
  • Manage visitor and employee access by validating credentials, processing visitor requests, issuing passes, and supporting access control procedures.
  • Enroll employees for permanent badges, schedule badging appointments, and maintain accurate records within identity and security management systems.
  • Support security operations by conducting background and eligibility checks, processing NCIC reports, and assisting with personnel security actions.
  • Maintain data integrity and security compliance through auditing, reporting, system updates, and ongoing support of protective services initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in security, badging, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, with an interim clearance required prior to start.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting physical security, visitor management, access control, or badging operations.
  • Familiarity with identity management, personnel processing, or security database systems.
  • Previous experience working in a government, military, or highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of security clearance processes and access control procedures.
