Job description

Echelon Services is currently seeking a full time Applications Programmer with strong technical skills and security systems engineering experience. Candidate will work with system engineers and technicians on new and ongoing projects for various customers located in the NCR. The candidate will be responsible for design assistance, programming and integration of various security systems to include but not limited to, access control, CCTV, intercom and IDS systems.

Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreements Analyze physical security system performance and recommend improvements Resolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networks Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and technical specialists Train system users and other system support personnel Perform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging software loading, and setup Provides proper training to workers to implement operating procedures, safety protocols, and avoid system malfunctions Work with Project Managers and engineers for security design and integration. Utilizing the Company's processes and procedures to effectively and efficiently managing resources, scope, budget, timelines and quality Provide technical support to field technicians and operational staff Other duties as assigned Travel to client sites as required Qualifications 1 year physical security programming experience, including regular interface with general contractors, property managers and client stakeholders. Thorough understanding of both installation and service elements of operational performance.

1 year or experience working independently with ability to manage multiple projects at once. 1 year of experience successfully completing of projects safely and on time. Must be able to obtain and hold a government security clearance 1 year of experience with the installation processes and materials used in installation of Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection System and Video Management Systems.

1 year of experience creating technical documentation, including design documents and reference libraries.
