Guzman Engineering, a Texas-based company specializing in electrical engineering, SCADA programming, and security system design, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Houston, TX. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will have the opportunity to work on critical municipal and industrial utility projects, contributing to the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems. Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $96,000.00
Maximum Salary: $125,000.00

Duties:

  • Perform wire and conduit sizing calculations in accordance with NEC and project standards.
  • Design markups for CAD production team.
  • Conduct load analysis and arc flash studies for low and medium voltage power systems.
  • Develop construction drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Execute conduit fill and voltage drop calculations to ensure system compliance and constructability.
  • Assist in technical writing and preparation of construction specifications and design reports.
  • Support marketing and client meetings by providing technical input and presenting design concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers for mentorship and project guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with design team for camaraderie and growth together.
  • Work with the CAD production team to improve drafting standards and CAD efficiency.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary design coordination with civil, structural, and mechanical teams.
