Job description

We take play seriously. We're looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what's never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you'll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
As Hasbro continues to strengthen leadership capability and organizational effectiveness, we are building a scrappy, high-impact Learning & Development function. We are seeking a Learning & Development Instructional Designer to support the creation and execution of high-quality learning experiences for managers and leaders.
This role will work within the L&D team to develop engaging virtual and in-person learning sessions, tools, and resources that drive practical skill-building and behavior change. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, organized, and excited to grow in the field of instructional design and leadership development. This is a hands-on role passionate about building, refining, and scaling learning content and materials.
This is a hybrid role and will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at either our Boston, MA or Seattle WA office.
What You Will Do As A Learning & Development Program Manager:
  • Support the design and development of virtual and in-person learning sessions for managers and leaders.
  • Build slide decks, participant materials, facilitator guides, and job aids based on provided frameworks and direction.
  • Develop and maintain on-demand learning content, including micro-learning modules, recorded sessions, toolkits, and self-paced resources within the LMS or digital learning platforms.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-use learning tools.
  • Assist in developing just-in-time toolkits focused on feedback, decision-making, team effectiveness, and leadership fundamentals.
  • Manage learning logistics, materials, and coordination for live sessions.
  • Maintain learning resources within digital platforms and repositories.
  • Incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine materials.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across learning assets.

What You Will Bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, HR, education, or related field.
  • Experience developing or supporting on-demand or digital learning content (e.g., micro-learning modules, recorded sessions, interactive resources).
  • Familiarity with eLearning systems and tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, or similar platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Experience building presentations and learning materials (PowerPoint, Word, etc).
  • High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Ability to take direction and translate it into structured, polished deliverables.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate, Rise, etc.).
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms.
  • Interest in leadership development or organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting live virtual or in-person training sessions.
