Description and Requirements
General Description:
The Employee Benefits Practice Leader will be responsible for continuous organic revenue growth by leading existing, and attracting new, EB producers.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Learn then lead USI's proprietary One Advantage Platform, to include:
o Omni: Proprietary, real time, interactive intranet-based client solutions
o Network: Vast experienced local resources, networked nationally
o Enterprise: Combining Omni Solutions with the Network for comprehensive results
• Drive profitable organic revenue growth through client retention and new business
• Partner with local in-house recruiting team to source, recruit, hire and train producers/brokers
• Partner with operations team to ensure the highest level of client solutions and satisfaction
• Create positive collaboration to drive a robust cross sell process
• Run huddle meetings to 1) prepare for new business appointments 2) keep existing clients
• Join producers on new business appointments
• Ensure producers maintain robust pipelines with quality prospects
• Develop positive carrier relationships
Key Performance Metrics:
• Simple Net New (SNN): New business exceeds lost business
• Direct contribution margins (controllable within the practice)
• Organic revenue growth
• Execution of USI One Advantage
• Recruiting, hiring and development of team
Required Skills:
• 5 -10 + years of EB commercial brokerage experience
• 3 + years of sales leadership Preferred
• Track record of successful individual EB commercial broker sales
• Deep knowledge and expertise of commercial EB
• Strong visibility within the EB community
• Proven track record for meeting or exceeding performance targets
• Consultative, solutions based selling approach
• An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative, passionate, high integrity
• Undergraduate degree
