INTERA Incorporated is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Austin, Texas, office. INTERA is a geosciences and engineering consulting firm focused on providing solutions to environmental, water resources, coastal engineering, and waste isolation challenges. In this role, youโ€™ll help tell the story of our technical expertise by supporting proposals, marketing campaigns, and branded materials that connect our teams with meaningful project opportunities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining organization, writing, design, and teamwork to support impactful work in environmental and engineering consulting.


Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing a variety of marketing and administrative tasks in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. You will play a key role in helping INTERA showcase its expertise by working closely with technical staff to develop compelling proposals and marketing materials while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Responsibilities include coordinating proposals, developing and producing content, managing proposal and staff data, preparing marketing literature such as flyers, brochures, and statements of qualifications, and helping maintain INTERAโ€™s brand consistency across materials. Key Responsibilities

Data Management

  • Maintain staff statistics (e.g., disciplines, years of experience, degrees) and track professional licenses and certifications
  • Track proposal win-loss and other marketing statistics
  • Input, update, and query data in the marketing content management system

Proposal Management

  • Draft, edit, and organize responses to solicitations and other qualification package requests
  • Manage timelines to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Compile and manage content and edits from multiple sources during the proposal process to develop high-quality submittals, while adhering to deadlines
  • Proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, quality writing, and clear focus

Brand Marketing and Promotion

  • Manage and update online presence โ€“ website and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Creation of marketing literature โ€“ flyers, brochures, etc.

Conference and Event Marketing

  • Coordinate attendance at events and conferences with technical personnel
  • Support attendance at conferences through the coordination of display booths and
    marketing materials


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience developing marketing, proposal, and business development materials in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the scientific and/or engineering consulting industry
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with AI-based content management systems
  • Experience with the design and creation of marketing graphics
