Job description

The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a highly organized individual with strong time management skills to lead the Rides to Recovery program in Ogdensburg, NY.
The Recovery Advocate and Transportation Coordinator is responsible for all components of the Rides to Recovery program, including-but not limited to-scheduling rides, maintaining accurate records, consistently communicating with transportation companies, expanding the program's outreach by recruiting new community partners, fielding concerns, and meeting required reporting requirements.
The Recovery Advocate and Transportation Coordinator will also serve as a Peer in The Valley Recovery Center, facilitating group recovery programs, meeting one-on-one with participants, and helping to organize community events.
Successful candidates must have strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and self-driven, and have practical time management skills. They must also handle multiple documents and reporting systems while fielding consistent calls from the community.
The minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience in the recovery field.
