Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is critical in addressing the psychosocial needs of our patients within our Detox Center, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive support throughout their healthcare journey.

The position offers flexibility through remote work, enabling you to engage with patients and healthcare teams from your preferred location. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that take into account emotional, social, and financial needs, collaborating with medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Provide individual and group counseling focused on a range of issues, including adjustment disorders, grief, and coping strategies related to addiction recovery.
• Actively coordinate with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring seamless transitions for patients into the community.
• Offer vital emotional support and education to both patients and families on treatment options available and resources at their disposal.
• Participate in hospital committees, providing valuable insights on social work-related matters and enhancing the integration of services provided.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emotional support to patients and their families during critical moments of their recovery process.
• Develop and implement individualized discharge plans, connecting patients with appropriate community resources to ensure continuity of care following discharge.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and all legal requirements, ensuring quality assurance and transparency.

The clientele served at Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center often includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and significant life changes. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on these individuals and their families, supporting them through some of their most challenging times.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology as well as mental health disorders to effectively interact with patients and other medical staff.

• Two years of experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting, particularly in behavioral health or addiction services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and knowledge of community resources.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition, we provide:
