Sr. Instructional Designer
So, what does a TaskUs Sr. Instructional Designer really do? Think of yourself as an Architect for TaskUs clients, helping to build a roadmap, plan, and ultimately execute. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: Spending your day to help build the disruptive force behind TaskUs and some of the world's most disruptive companies. Your role was designed to map requirements, plan solutions, and successfully execute strategies.   • Meet with Subject-Matter Experts to conduct Front End Analysis/Task Analyses and document content-specific knowledge to support training development
  • Determine the level of effort required for all aspects of development
  • Design and develop all training content (instructor slides, handbooks, scripts, storyboards, web-based training decks, interactivity modules, quizzes, activities, etc.)
  • Create assessments per the defined assessment strategy
  • Supports facilitation of answer validation sessions for fully defensible and aligned assessments as directed by the Training Program Manager
  • Review training content created by other team members
  • Assist with onboarding and upskilling new Learning Experience Consultants

Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Learning Development, Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of Instructional Design/ Curriculum development experience
  • At least 2 years of experience reviewing the work of others for quality and consistency
  • Experience working with fast-paced cutting-edge technologies
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting.
  • Tolerance and enthusiasm for working with ambiguity and change.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring software; i.e. Articulate storyline, Evolve for course development.
  • Proven excellence in developing fully ADA-compliant training deliverables.
  • Experience in corporate education

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience identifying training needs, defining, and building scalable training solutions to address the needs of a diverse international audience
  • Experience using e-learning tools (i.e. Articulate, Captivate) to create training content
  • Experience migrating training courses into Intellum or other LMS
  • Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex training projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality training materials within deadlines; excellent relationship building, collaboration, consultation, and influencing skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude; excellent written and oral business communication and people skills.
  • Video editing such as Premier, Finalcut, Camtasia, etc.
  • Learning Management System - Intellum Exceed LMS
  • SQL queries and visualization of key performance metrics
  • Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Buganizer, Guts in assessments, support, and QA
