Learning Experience Consultant/Instructional Designer
So, what does a TaskUs Instructional Designer really do? Think of yourself as an Architect for
TaskUs clients, helping to build a roadmap, plan, and ultimately execute. Imagine yourself going to
work with one thing on your mind: Spending your day to help build the disruptive force behind
TaskUs and some of the world's most disruptive companies. Your role was designed to map
requirements, plan solutions, and successfully execute learning experiences. Your achievements
are gauged not on hours worked, but on the success or failure of projects and launches.
You love partnering with people to understand their needs and requirements and come up with
creative approaches to make them successful. You care deeply about the overall business and look

• Meet with Subject Matter Experts to conduct Front End Analysis/ Content Analyses and
document content-specific knowledge to support training development
• Develop SMART Learning Objectives
• Design and develop all training content and curriculum (instructor slides, handbooks,
scripts, storyboards, web-based training decks, interactivity modules, quizzes, learning
pathways, etc.)
• Create assessments per the defined assessment strategy
• Edit and develop video content using software such as Premier, Camtasia, etc.
• Review and edit training content created by other team members for Quality Assurance
• Consult learning partners on adult learning best practices
• Receive and give continuous feedback to optimize team efficiency
• Scheduling and building out the monthly calendar
Required skills/Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in education, Learning theory, Instructional design, and/or related
discipline field or equivalent practical 10 yrs experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing and delivering learning using multiple
media.
• Some experience using e-learning tools and software (i.e. Articulate, Captivate, Evolve)
to create training content
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting.
• Tolerance and enthusiasm for working with ambiguity and change.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite for graphic and animation development.
• Proven excellence in developing fully ADA Compliant training deliverables.
Nice to have
• UX/UI experience
• Hands-on experience with technical topics or environments (e.g. computers,
programming, networking, front-end development, etc.).
• Experience migrating training courses into Intellum or other LMS
• Experience in corporate education
• (L4) Learning Management System - Intellum Exceed LMS
• (L4) SQL queries and visualization of key performance metrics
• Experience with Google suite , Buganizer, and QA
