Job description

Airxcel Product Auditor

Non-Exempt

Reports To: Service Manager

Summary/Objective:

Schedule and complete audits for Airxcel products at customer sites throughout assigned territory

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Schedule and complete audits on a daily basis.
  • Inform and educate OEM of discrepancies with installation of Airxcel products.
  • Manage Monthly audits to accommodate OEMโ€™s frequency needs.

Characteristic Duties:

  • Ability to present information to OEMโ€™s in a professional and intelligent way.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work by oneself.
  • Ability to provide clear communication to the OEMโ€™s, Purchasing agent, management, and Engineering.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, word, and Excel.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Must be able to maintain a valid driverโ€™s license and pass requirements for company driving/insurability.

Supervisory Responsibility:

No

Work Environment:

This position works within an RV manufacturer facility/ warehouse, as well as an office environment and outside as needed.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers. The employee may be required to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Full time hourly position with the possibility of occasional overtime. Hours are Monday โ€“ Friday 6 am-2:30 pm.

Travel:

Local travel (Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan)

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School or equivalent basic course studies
