Job description

SGI is seeking an Intermediate Intelligence Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service (FPS), under the FPS Incident Management Center (IMC) support contract. This position supports FPS intelligence and threat monitoring activities by conducting open-source threat analysis, supporting operational reporting, and coordinating intelligence products in accordance with FPS policies and privacy requirements.
*Contingent on contract award*
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the FPS Open-Source Threat Intelligence Program
  • Monitor open sources for potential threats to federal facilities
  • Support regional special event information requirements
  • Coordinate threat reporting in accordance with FPS policies and privacy and civil liberties requirements
  • Prepare and brief the Daily Intelligence Review Bulletin
  • Support field Requests for Information (RFIs) and law enforcement system checks
  • Gather and correlate intelligence in support of critical incident reporting
  • Conduct research and manage data to support analytic production and operational reporting
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree
  • 5 years of experience
